Facility Modernization & Maintenance Updates

PHASE I

Summer of 2021

The center school (previously known as Lakeview School Day Support) for students with emotional and behavioral disabilities (EBD) and/or mental health diagnoses moved from the Baptist Hospital campus to the Judy Andrews Center in Warrington. Prior to moving in, the building had the following upgrades: 

  • New surveillance system
  • Added security measures  
  • New fence
  • Sidewalk enclosure
  • Updated internet and phone lines
  • New furniture (including flexible seating)
  • New technology (e.g., TVs)
  • Renovated community room
  • Renovated cosmetics (e.g., paint, flooring, ceiling)
  • Residential-style kitchen

PHASE II

 

Summer of 2022

The following updates were made to our campus:

  • New playground
  • New basketball court
  • Community room completion
  • Raised planter beds
  • Picnic tables

PHASE III

Summer of 2023

We hope to complete the following projects:

  • New hurricane-proof windows
  • Centralized heating and air conditioning
  • Updated LED lighting throughout the building
  • Added sprinkler system
